The Kain 202 AIMO is available in chic white for just under 100 euros. If you like it simpler, you can choose the black version called the Kain 200 AIMO.

With the PMW3335 from Pixart, Roccat has installed one of the best optical sensors currently available for wireless mice. It tracks with up to 16,000 dpi, the sensitivity is changed via a button below the mouse wheel.

The device driver offers many options that make the gamer’s heart beat faster, but overwhelm normal users. Even if rubberized gripping surfaces were omitted, the mouse, which weighs only 105g, nestles very well on the palm of the hand.

The two main buttons have excellent pressure points, and the scroll wheel clicks perfectly. If you prefer a mouse with a cable, you can safely choose the cheaper and 20g lighter Kain 120 AIMO. The built-in PMW3381 sensor delivers almost identical values.

With the wired Kain 120/122 AIMO and the wireless Kain 200/202 AIMO, the Hamburg accessory manufacturer Roccat offers two first-class mice in black or white, which should delight not only gamers but also ordinary users.

In the practical test we could not find any notable differences between the externally identical mice, apart from the connection to the PC, with the best of intentions. Both made an excellent impression.
